This isn’t my first Naima Simone book, obviously. But this is probably my first review for this blog… let me check real quick – yep, it is! And what can I say? I absolutely adore her books.
Naima hits it with the spice every time, without fail. Even the insta-lust kind of spice. Right from the moment when Joaquin Iverson & Nore Daniels first meet (across a crowded room, of all places). One wouldn’t expect that chemistry to translate into their ‘real’ lives, but it does. Their respective backstories are jam-packed with secrets and plot twists that you never see coming, and they get their HEA at the end of it all.
I read this all in one sitting, that’s how good the story is.
