Kai’s Healing Smiles took me on an emotional rollercoaster, and I was here for it every step of the way. It was an angst-filled, drama-filled, heartache-inducing read with just the right amount of sizzling scenes and plot twists. Vivi has a way with words, delivering an angsty page-turner that hooks you in from Page One.
Grief can be a paralyzing emotion, as evidenced by Silas at the start of and throughout the story. I was happy to see his grief handled respectfully and informatively. Besides, who doesn’t love getting their hearts ripped out?
This was a breath of fresh air, with Kai and Silas balancing each other out in the best of ways. Also, everyone needs a hippie mom. And a witchy best friend. Just saying…where can I get a May in my life?
