Of all the books I’ve read this summer, Guarding Her Heart was the palette cleanser I never knew I needed – and I say this in all the best of ways. A true and well-executed grumpy-sunshine trope. I’m all for an emotional rollercoaster journey and this one did not disappoint. Both characters had their strengths and weaknesses, and it was a treat going on this journey with them.

Overall, this was a very angsty and emotional read, with a satisfying HEA!
