I have had this one on my kindle for months, and I’m so annoyed with myself that it took me so long to read it finally!

Am I a sucker for an age-gap story?

Absolutely!

Even more so when the woman is older. Plus, Alicia and Maddie are couple goals. I loved that Alicia knew what she wanted and went for it.

Then there’s the taboo aspect (professor-student) that we get right from Page 1, then shove that right to the side for the action. Is it more smut and less plot – YES, but that’s what I wanted to read, and that’s exactly what I got.

There is a reason why Ruan Willow is quickly becoming one of my favorite smut authors. With her books, I don’t skim over the sex scenes – the nerdy part of my brain (pun intended) knows that those details are HOT, HOT, HOT, and accurate. The characters are flawed, as is to be expected, and it ends in a HEA.
